Well last night was interesting!
I ended up going into labor and delivery because I was having some pretty strong braxton hicks that were giving me pressure in my pelvis and rectum and having twins, I just wanted to be safe. Turns out that I was having some regular contractions and was dilated a centimeter so they kept me overnight for observation. Eventually, they ended up giving two separate medications to try to stop the contractions and the second one finally worked. Fortunately, throughout the night I hadn't dilated anymore and my fetal fibronectiin swab came back negative meaning that I wasn't in actual labor so I got to go home.
I never felt at any point that it was actually time and that I was in labor but I was just so damn uncomfortable and the contractions were really strong and sometimes painful. So, I'm glad that they were able to get them to stop! Plus, it's still a little too early for these babies to meet the world.
