I had my psychological evaluation this morning. It was over the phone which probably made it much more relaxed and easy. The psychiatrist basically told me to start as far back as I remember and describe growing up and my family and life events. Fortunately for me, talking is my strong suit so once I got going, I just kept blabbing away. Once I reached present time, he asked me some questions about why I'm doing surrogacy, how I feel about the psychological impact and emotional stress it could place, etc. I explained everything to him about how I felt and that I thought I had a pretty level head on me and could handle it. Also, that I wasn't going into it completely oblivious to the risks and concerns involved, only that I was willing to take them on for the greater overall benefit and rewards of surrogacy.
I'm only a slightly bit concerned that he may find me certifiable.
