Well, fortunately Sorrell's prediction was incorrect this time and the babies are still happily floating in their waterbeds of cozy peace. However, we did have a couple false alarms that made me think at the time that Sorrell may be correct!
Monday, I was having contractions that were really painful....like causing me to sway side to side and constantly change positions to try to deal with them painful. I finally gave in and went to the hospital. Eventually, they gave me Stadol for the pain and the contractions slowed so I was sent home.
Then Tuesday evening I felt like I was leaking and after several hours of trying to decipher if it was truly amniotic fluid or just urine/discharge that was leaking, I decided to go in to check to be sure. Of course, it turned out that it wasn't amniotic fluid so again, I was eventually sent home after AGAIN being given terbutaline to stop regular contractions that I was also having.
I've decided that I'm not going back until I'm crowning! Lol.
