It's been a while since I have posted anything. I am on the National Executive Board for my sorority Omega Phi Alpha and this last weekend was our national convention. Things have been very busy for me leading up to it so my posts kind of fell to the wayside. Let me catch you up on everything.
On Friday, July 11 I went in for an ultrasound. Jonathan had been worrying over how the remaining baby was doing so we set up an ultrasound at a maternity boutique spa place. Everything was great! Baby was measuring perfect, moving around on the screen, and had a nice hear rate of 164 bpm. I got to record it for Jonathan to hear too. It was hard to get a good still shot because it was wiggling so much but they got a good profile of baby trying to suck its thumb!

I also have started feeling baby move!! It's been getting more and more noticeable as each day passes. This past weekend while I was away for convention was when I think it really kicked up. All throughout the day I'd feel the little wiggles and summersaults.
That's really all that has happened baby wise. Jonathan decided he wasn't comfortable with a birth center and so Dr. K called the birth center and said it was his recommendation I go through an OB for my VBAC. They called me and said that because of that recommendation, they couldn't take me on as a patient at all (probably ever) so now I'm stuck trying to get insurance all straightened out with the switch back over to an all natural VBAC supportive OB. Until that is all completed, I can't schedule any appointments so we're on standby for anything new to report.
But, as of this coming Friday we will officially have the first trimester checked off and only two more to go! It's flying by for me this time and I think that it's because I've been generally feeling so good. I don't have morning sickness or other daily symptoms to remind me I'm pregnant. In fact, sometimes when I feel the baby move I'm like, oh yeah! There's a baby growing in there! lol Well that and the fact that I've officially had to graduate to maternity pants!! ;)
