Well, as if Mother's Day couldn't get any better...
But let me back up. I took a test this morning with a dip strip that I bought in bulk online that has a sensitivity of 10mlU at 8:00am when I woke up. The result was negative but I wasn't happy with it because it had a weird white line where the test strip is. However, they say that unless it has color, it's negative.
So when Jonathan asked if I'd started testing yet, I told him it was negative. That got me thinking more about that stupid white line. So I decided not to drink anything and hold my pee for four hours to let it get concentrated and test again. I only made it three hours. When the new dip strip looked positive to me (albeit a squinter), I tried three other tests with the same urine:

The lines in the bottom three were super light (though more easily seen in person). I wanted to tell Jonathan since he was going to his mom's today but I didn't think it was conclusive enough. So that's when I went to the store and bought some digital tests! When I got this, I sent the picture to him!
He called me and I told him the story and sent the picture of the four line tests. Jonathan is a little hesitant because the positive lines on the line tests are so light, which is understandable. I told him that a line is a line, no matter how dark or light it is. I did mention there's a slim chance of a chemical pregnancy but that's why we do three Betas (to make sure it's doubling properly) but that as of this moment, I'm pregnant! He said I just made his day because he was just feeling a little bummed that this mornings test was negative. So to make him feel a little better (because the line tests are so light it is hard to see in the pictures) I took more this evening (including the CBD digital at the top of this post) and compared the progression to show them getting darker.
Can't wait to get that good strong Beta on Friday!! And as if things couldn't get any better, I'll be due for our heartbeat confirmation and bean count ultrasound around the second week of June so I want to have it done either the Friday before or the Monday after Father's Day! Hopefully Jonathan can come down to Texas for it!! :)
