Look what arrived for me on Saturday!
Oh, yeah, baby! I'm a walking pin cushion this month. ;) But it's all good and as long as they do their job, it will be so worth it! Although, I found out the hard way yesterday that the Menopur that I have to take in the morning BURNS like a mofo going in. Today I injected it REEAAALLLLY slowly and that helped. Whew! lol
So yesterday morning (Sunday, CD3) I started meds. The schedule for now is 75IU of Menopur in the morning and 75IU of Foliistim in the evening. On Thursday (CD7) I have to go back in to the monitoring clinic for a follow-up ultrasound to measure my endometrial lining and follicles. Those measurements will determine if I will continue with the same doses or change them. I will also know after that when they want me to go in again for another ultrasound, though two days later seems to be the norm.
So, assuming that we transfer on day 13-18, that gives us a tentative date between April 3 and April 8. I'm hoping sooner than later!
