I have always been fortunate enough to not experience typical period and PMS symptoms. Sure, I used the excuse of them when I was young to stay home from school or sit out of gym class a few times but who doesn't!? But I've never had to suffer through horrible cramps or long or heavy periods or really even any of the PMS symptoms like moodiness, bloating, etc. (Yay! Aren't you glad you're reading this!?)
But for some reason this cycle is hitting full force and apparently making up for my short, easy periods since puberty. I've had crazy mood swings, bad cramps and its heavy...and it's only day 2. Really?
Oh well, whatever it takes to get this baby for Jonathan! :)
And I'm suddenly not feeling so confident that we'll have contracts done in time for my next cycle. Simple Surrogacy posted on FB today about their offices being closed for the holidays, which of course is great for the employees! But they don't reopen until January 6th. I could be wrong but as far as I know, they haven't started on contracts for us because I haven't received my match sheet from Stephanie. If that's the case, I just don't see it working in the time frame.
I may be mistaken but I'm pretty sure that contracts have to be signed before I can start Clomid and I'll have to start that when I start my next period around January 17. That means that they have to get it drafted, sent to Jonathan for review, sent to me for review and signed between Jan 6 and Jan 17. Not impossible but the way people work...well, let's just say that others don't typically work to the military accountability that I hold myself to.
Jonathan called me earlier today but I missed it. He left a message saying to give him a call back when I could, nothing bad. But he was busy when I called so we're playing phone tag now. I wonder if he's heard anything from the clinic or Simple Surrogacy?
