Rebecca called this morning and said that everything looked good on the ultrasound so I can begin taking the Clomid. I'm taking 100mg a day. She also sent orders to Sarasota Memorial again for an HSG or a contract reading of my lady parts to make sure that my fallopian tubes are not blocked. Apparently it's a preemptive strike they do on all IUIs because if the tubes are blocked, then I can't get pregnant and it doesn't make sense to do the IUI!
I also received my pre-filled HCG shot from Fed-Ex today. It came with a little sharps container, alcohol swabs and my progesterone that I will start taking after the IUI. The syringe is in the fridge and I put the ice packs in the freezer so that I can use them again when I pack for the flight.
Speaking of which, flight and hotel and appointment are booked!! Sorrell and I leave Wednesday late morning to head to Dallas and then we have the ultrasound appointment with Dr. Kaufmann on Thursday at 9:30. From there, we will know if I'm ready to trigger or if we need to wait a couple more days.
